Take It From Me
Take It From Me- An award-winning documentary by
local fimmaker Rachel Clift, is colorful portrait of three
passionate young women artists - painter, dancer, singer -
who, despite their obvious differences, are connected in
stiking ways.  Viewers watch traditional Indian dance,
jazz-based painting, and popular folk music developed
from idea to an art form, with a moving finale.  Shot on
beautiful 16mm film, TAKE IT FROM ME examines the
place where personal truth, politics, and the artistic
process meet.  Featuring Jess Klein, Aparna Sindhoor, and
Chandra Dieppa Ortiz with Klein's music underscoring
much of the film.
