Welcome to the BCA/Dieppa Studio On-line
Storytellers Series.
Students from the Mentorship Program of
the Boston Center for the Arts (BCA)
participated in an online storytelling project
as part of their cultural day event with artist
Chandra Dieppa Ortiz.
Students were asked to create portraits of
each other with little time and no previous
drawing experience. Then they were asked
to create landscape paintings of the places
were they feel most creative, powerful or
free.
The goal of this activity was to challenge
students to find their own storytelling voice
and to encourage sharing those stories with
people in and outside their community.
